{Black and White} 7/52
Christy is right, if I had to pick my poison it would be black and white. I know we live this life in color. I appreciate that too, but I've always had a thing for blank and white. There is something about the tones, something about the way it lends it's self to emotion, something in the way it can erase a detail, or better yet, pull it out more. When I'm photographing, I know immediately what images will be processes as black and white. Some days, I want to ditch my digital camera and shoot only with black and white film on my 35. I love the flavor of black and white film. I still think that's one thing digital has a hard time touching.

black + white | 7/52
Finally caught up! Black and white is undoubtedly one of my favorite subjects of our whole 52 week project (in fact I wish we had MORE!!). I think actually the subject of black and white imagery was one of the first subjects that Mandy and I agreed that we love. Maybe it's why we're such close friends now!
This image was taken in my front yard this past week - it was gorgeously foggy and frosty out. One of the mornings (that are definitely few and far between in my opinion) that make you love and enjoy winter for it's beauty!
